In this research, we explore the effectiveness of using TBL (task based-learning) along with ICT for the development of speaking in 10th grade at Reino de Suecia Institute in Estelí during the first semester, 2019. The focus of this study is to verify how effective this method is in an English class by using tools such as data show projectors and speaker. In order to achieve this objective, ten students from a public secondary school were selected as participants. The school is located in the city of Estelí. The study was carried out in two periods of class; one of them in 90 minutes and the other was 45 minutes. The lesson plans were create following the TBL framework with activities that encourage oral performance. The data for this research was gathered through observation guides, interviews with the students and an interview that was directly applied to the teacher. This data was then analyzed under the qualitative approach. The result showed that undoubtedly, the TBL along with ICT is adequate to foster the development of speaking.
