Resumen

Los estudiantes de cualquier nivel siempre se preguntan:” ¿En qué me va a ayudar esta clase? ¿Para qué me van a servir estos conocimientos?”. El estudiantado siempre se hace esas preguntas y los docentes debemos contestar esas preguntas haciéndoles saber por medio de ideas innovadoras el por qué deben adquirir esos conocimientos en cada una de las asignaturas de su plan de estudio. Los estudiantes de la carrera de inglés en la modalidad de profesionalización del quinto año de la FAREM-Carazo están estudiando las técnicas de traducción inglesa en este segundo semestre 2013. En conjunto con su docente, la cooperante del cuerpo de Paz: Sarah Hoch y la maestra Alicia Idiáquez están implementando una idea novedosa para poner esos conocimientos adquiridos en clase al servicio de la comunidad educativa de la FAREM-Carazo y del público en general de habla inglesa. SUMMARY The students at any level always wonder “How this subject will help me?” “What the knowledge of this subject is for?. The students always ask themselves these questions and the teachers should answer them let them know by means of innovative ideas why they should that knowledge in each one of the subject of the curriculum. The students from fifth year of the English major from Saturday program are studying the English translation techniques in the second semester 2013. They are implementing a new innovative idea with the collaboration of their professor, MSc. Alicia Idiaquez, and MSc. Sara Hoch who is a Peace Corps volunteer in this faculty to put the acquired knowledge in class to the service of the educational community from FAREM-Carazo and to the audience who are English readers.
