Resumen

Have a dynamic and funny class hour is very important for teachers. There are several strategies like gamification techniques in classroom. It is for that reason that the present research work focuses on the use of gamification techniques as an instructional resource for Teaching English as a second language and it influences on the development of English learners. The object of this research is to analyze the benefits of the use of this gamification techniques to improve speaking and listening in students, that is why this research is very important because it describes and explain the way in which gamification techniques can contribute to the development of gamification in the classroom. The approach of this investigation is qualitative and a sample of 7 students of 3rd grade was taken, to whom surveys were applied. In addiction an interview was aimed to the teacher. This instrument along with the theorical framework were served to give answer to the proposed objective and conclude that gamification techniques used as a teaching resource can provide multiple benefits for the development of gamification and to improve listening and speaking skills, with which students feel more identified and motivated to learn, however teachers continue using traditional materials and strategies leaving aside resources with better teaching potential
